Deep-Sea Exploration

At Sea Research Foundation, our interest in the oceans goes far deeper than the creatures who live in them. The Ocean Exploration Center, under the direction of Dr. Robert Ballard, is dedicated to deep-sea exploration that includes human and natural history, and develops advanced deep-sea vehicle systems to conduct this research.
