Ages 9 to 12
Which is your child’s favorite animal at the Aquarium? In this camp they will have fun while learning more about the marine world. Each day, kids will investigate a different group of animals, visit their habitats and meet the staff who takes care of them to learn about their work. Field trips and cool projects will complete this unique animal exploration experience.

Ages 9 to 12
Dr. Robert Ballard uses remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to explore the undersea world. He even used them to investigate the Titanic. In this three-day camp your child will have the opportunity to build an ROV from scratch and use it to complete fun underwater challenges. No experience is necessary to have a great time exploring the Aquarium and local habitats in this exciting camp.

Ages 11 to 13
In this camp, kids will get to look beneath the surface and explore the undersea world aboard Project Oceanology’s research vessel, visit a variety of marine coastal environments and sleep overnight at the Aquarium, co-sponsor of the camp. This is a week-long overnight camp held at the University of Rhode Island’s Environmental Education Center. Fee includes all meals, accommodations and research equipment.

Need help with hectic schedules? Extended day activities including crafts, games, and snacks are offered from 4:00pm-5:00pm.
Schedule: Monday – Friday for campers ages 6-13.
